• MingBauSet engage our ears with their rich sonic luminosity, their immediacy and their invitation to the listener to share a space that ranges from thunder to silence. They create a natural flow which transforms intense energy into poetic impromptu songs dancing in fantasy languages. In 2018 Gerry Hemingway, Vera Baumann and Florestan Berset started their determined journey to develop a shared and personal musical language. The sonic landscapes they improvise in realtime carry the listener on a journey of discovery. Music that lives in the moment, suspended by the immediacy of sharing a musical experience with the listener. The contours of their creations can take your breath away like the way morning brings light to the world of life.
